The solidarity walk is aimed at a family audience, it is open to adults and children. No timekeeping, no need for a medical certificate to participate. 
You will be accompanied by volunteers on a loop of 6kms around Ghisoni which will allow you to discover the natural beauty of the region but also a little history of the village.

So do not hesitate and come and walk in the footsteps of the runners before encouraging them!

At the exit of the village, direction Col de Sorba, leave the road at the bridge of Funtana Nova, towards the Fussone, an authentic and centenary irrigation canal. After crossing the canal on a small stone bridge, you will attack a first steep ascent under the pines, but whose slope softens very quickly.
Then you will pass through a succession of plateaus, up to Tralliga, the end of your uphill effort. Enjoy the view: in the direction of the ascent, left hand the Renosu chain, Punta Capella, the Col de Verde which marks the end of the valley of the Fiumorbu river and the Kyrie Eleison chain, the last rampart above the eastern plain.
And here, you’ll cross the descent of the race. Take the path on your right and enjoy again the freshness of the pines until the plateau of Forno where the refreshment post is positioned. Do not hesitate to advance carefully on the rock in front of you, and enjoy the view: it is a feast for the eyes and ears. Don’t forget the first riders who will appreciate your encouragement!
You then head to the shady plateau of Petra di Riba. Cross the grassy plateau and fill with freshness, then it’s time to go back: Ghisoni is at your feet!
Then embark on a long, winding descent towards the irrigation canal that you will follow for 900 meters. You will be able to take the measure of the titanic work necessary to the realization of the canal! A last descent that is nothing but the first ascent of the race will take you back to the village where you can enjoy our friendly and well deserved buffet with our athletes!
