Hello fellow runners and walkers, welcome to our English version of the A Corsa di l’Oriente website. We hope that you will find there all the information you need to plan your race.
Now let’s talk about this new edition.
But first of all, one last look at 2017. This 15th edition was a great success with a record attendance: you have been over 250 runners and 70 walkers to come and support the little Laurina in her fight against the disease. And let’s hope that beyond the financial aid given to La Lune Rouge association to help her, the solidarity of all the participants is an additional support in her fight.
Let’s turn now to 2018 and its many novelties:
- First of all, A Corsa di l’Oriente confirms its local roots by signing a partnership with the University of Corsica. It offers to the students of Master 1 of the IAE option tourism, the opportunity to invest in a real professional project.
- A Corsa di Oriente also wants to open up to the outside world. It joins the Sky Running Series challenge by becoming the 4th and before last round of this well-known national championship. A real recognition and a great showcase for our event. This will allow us to welcome newcomers, but also to our island riders to go and discover new playgrounds.
- Finally, the proceeds of the day will be donated to the association Vaincre la mucoviscidose, which helps children suffering from cystic fibrosis who will be represented by 3 challengers.
So, on Sunday August 5th, 2018 in Ghisoni, come share our values and live your own adventure! And don’t forget our moto : “Versu è cime… sempre u core in pettu!” (“To the top wearing your heart on your sleeve! “).
