After hosting the final of the Skyrunning France in a 2019 edition that will remain in the memories, with a very high level, a very competitive finish, a record for the event and a 5th place for a certain … Noel Giordano, A Corsa di l’Oriente retrieves this year this very famous challenge
What is Skyrunning exactly: ridge races that exceed 2000 meters in altitude, with ropes, very technical aerial passages, breathtaking landscapes, and a few drops of lactic acid.

A runner will not be able to claim the final classification having completed less than three events. To be rewarded, he must be present on the day of the final race which will also serve as a judge of peace in case of equality of points.
Note that the A Corsa di l’Oriente race will offer the same supply of points as the Final race (+20%). You can find more information on the Skyrunner France Series website as well as the complete rules of the challenge.
The organization of the final in 2019 was a real opportunity for our competition to be known at national and international level. Whether in terms of quality of organization recognized by the French Skyrunning Federation, but also in terms of difficulty (for information the race was labeled this year by the International Skyrunning Federation, with a ranking of 2+ the highest in France), the Course de l’Oriente has nothing to envy to the most beautiful mountain races of France and elsewhere.
From a sporting point of view, taking part in such a challenge is a unique opportunity to discover new playgrounds, new atmospheres but also to confront high level sportsmen often coming from all over the world.
See you on August 6th in Ghisoni!
